Hanna Cander

Projektantka pochodzi z rodziny artystycznej – Ojciec Krzysztof Cander artysta malarz – profesor na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych UMK w Toruniu. Jego matka, Helena w przedwojennym Poznaniu była cenioną modystką. Tradycje krawieckie w rodzinie sięgają początku XX wieku, ponieważ siostra babci prowadziła zakład krawiecki z licznym gronem uczennic w Ostrowie Wielkopolskim.

The designer comes from an artistic family – her father Krzysztof Cander was a painter – professor at The Department o​f Fine Arts at The Nicolas Copernicus University in Toruń. His mother, Helena was a respected milliner in Poznań before the Second World War.

The tradition of dressmaking is in the family since the  beginning of the 20th century, because her grandmother`s sister ran her own dressmaker`s studio and had a group of students in Ostrów Wielkopolski.

Artystka zawsze lubiła tworzyć rzeczy niepowtarzalne, noszące rys własnej osobowości. Jej stroje są indywidualnie projektowane oraz ręcznie malowane i dlatego są jak obrazy jedyne w swoim rodzaju. Inspiracją są moda retro, secesja, malarstwo takich mistrzów jak Renoir oraz aktualne trendy w modzie. Ponadto, fascynuje się operą i baletem. Kolor jest środkiem ekspresji – posiada dużą wrażliwość kolorystyczną, którą wzbogaca muzyka - w co bardzo wierzy. Pomysły przychodzą zwykle niespodziewanie nawet w nocy

i wówczas zmuszona jest notować je za pomocą kilku kresek. Najbardziej zaś ekscytujące w modzie są niecierpliwość i zmienność. Wielbicielka sztuki włoskiej i francuskiej, podziwia dzieła takich projektantów jak Giorgio Armani.
 

The artist always loved creating unique clothes with a mark of her personality. Her dresses are individually designed and hand painted and that is why they are like pictures one of a kind. The inspiration for her are the retro fashion, modern style,  painting of masters like Renoir and current fashion trends. Moreover, she is fascinated with the opera and ballet. The colour is the mean of expression, she has a great colour sensitivity which is enriched with music – she really believes it.  The ideas come ususally unexpectedly even at night and then she is forced to take notes  of them with a help of several lines. The most exciting in fashion are impatiency and  variability. She is a lover of Italian and French art, she admires Giorgio Armani's projects.

Artystka wsparła charytatywnie Wielką Orkiestrę Światecznej Pomocy  - przeznaczyła szal ręcznie malowany na aukcję

The artist has supported a charity event of  "Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy" – she allocated a hand painted shawl for the auction.

Odbyły się pokazy mody artystki w Klubie Grand Cru w Szczecinie i butiku Idea Fix w Krakowie w 2012 roku. Wcześniej projektantka zaprezentowała swoje obrazy i stroje wieczorowe w Cafe Pianola w Bydgoszczy w ramach wystawy "Wieczorne o sztuce rozmyślania" oraz pokazała kolekcję "Królowa nocy" we wnętrzach ekskluzywnego Hotelu pod Orłem w Bydgoszczy w 2011r. podczas Bydgoskiego Kongresu Kultury. Ostatnia prezentacja sukni projektu Hanny Cander miała miejsce podczas Włoskiego lata w Bydgoszczy w 2012r.
Projektantka należy do  stowarzyszeń artystycznych: BSA i SPAMiG.

The fashon shows took place at the Grand Cru Club in Szczecin and

the butique Idea Fix in Cracow in 2012. Earlier the designer presented

her pictures and evening outfits at The Cafe Pianola in Bydgoszcz as a part of an exhibition entitled "The Evening Thnking about Art" and showed

her collection "The Queen of the Night" at the interiors of the exclusive Hotel pod Orłem in Bydgoszcz in 2011 during the Bydgoszcz Congress of Culture. The last presentation of  dresses designed by Hanna Cander took place during The Italian Summer in Bydgoszcz in 2012.
The designer is a member of artistic assiotiations: BSA and SPAMiG.
